哈尔滨医科大学口腔医学院前身是哈医大口腔医学系，始建于1958年，是新中国最早创建的口腔医学系之一，1999年哈医大口腔医学院正式成立。经过六十余年的薪火相传和几代人的不懈奋斗，学院现已发展成为黑龙江省内规模最大、学科门类最齐全、综合实力最雄厚的口腔医学人才培养基地，构建了以临床医疗为根基、教育教学为主体、科学研究为驱动、预防保健为延伸的“四位一体”发展格局，是东北地区重要的口腔医学人才培养与科技创新基地。
哈医大口腔医学学科是黑龙江省重点学科、国家级一流本科专业建设点，并入选黑龙江省新一轮高水平大学及优势特色学科建设项目。作为黑龙江省口腔医学教育的领军单位，学院于2006年获批口腔临床医学博士学位授权点，2010年获批口腔医学一级学科硕士学位授权点，2017年获批口腔医学一级学科博士学位授权点和口腔医学博士专业学位授权点，是省内唯一拥有本—硕—博完整人才培养体系的单位。学院拥有5个国家级住院医师规范化培训示范基地，其中口腔全科为国家重点专业基地，充分彰显了学院在口腔医学人才培养方面的卓越实力和领先地位。
学院师资力量雄厚，梯队结构合理，全院195名教职员工中，博士、硕士学位获得者占比高达98%，形成了学历层次高、专业素质强的高水平师资队伍。现有51人在中华口腔医学会等国家一级学术组织任职，是6个省级口腔专委会主任委员单位。学院与美国、日本、俄罗斯等多个国家的高校、科研机构建立了长期稳定的合作关系，为提升我省口腔学科的国际化水平发挥了引领作用。
学院医疗设施先进，配备153台口腔综合治疗椅、85张病床，年门急诊量突破20万人次，手术4800余例。设有9个门诊科室、1个医技科室和3个口腔颌面外科病房，多个技术领域达到国内先进和省内领先水平。是国家口腔疾病临床医学研究中心分中心、国家口腔医学中心专科联盟合作单位、首届“中国唇腭裂诊治联盟”合作单位，还是黑龙江省口腔医学专业医疗质量控制中心、省牙体牙髓病与牙周病临床医学研究中心、省言语残疾人员等级评定与治疗定点单位。
哈尔滨医科大学口腔医学院作为黑龙江省口腔医学教育的重要基地，设有7个现代化教研室，涵盖口腔医学各主要学科方向，年均培养本科生、研究生及规培生等各类专业人才近200名，为区域口腔医疗事业发展输送了大批高素质人才。学院于2001年建立哈尔滨医科大学口腔医学研究所，2015年成立中俄医学研究中心口腔生物医学研究所，在口腔生物材料、颅颌面组织再生、口腔肿瘤等研究领域取得了一系列创新性科研成果。

Introduction to the School of Stomatology, Harbin Medical University
The School of Stomatology at Harbin Medical University traces its origins to the Department of Stomatology of Harbin Medical University, established in 1958 as one of the earliest stomatology departments in New China. In 1999, it was officially renamed the School of Stomatology. Through the dedicated efforts of generations, it has developed into the most comprehensive stomatology institution in Heilongjiang Province, integrating medical services, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention, and healthcare.
Stomatology is a key discipline in Heilongjiang Province, a National First-Class Undergraduate Specialty Construction Program, and is also included as a discipline in Heilongjiang Province's new round of high-level university and advantageous/characteristic discipline development initiatives. In 2006, the school was granted the doctoral authorization in Clinical Stomatology, followed by the first-level master’s degree authorization in Stomatology, in 2010. In 2017, it further obtained the first-level doctoral degree authorization and the professional doctoral degree authorization in Stomatology, making it the sole institution in Heilongjiang Province authorized to confer doctoral degrees in this field. The school operates five national standardized residency training bases, with its General Dentistry base recognized as a key specialty training center.
The school boasts a distinguished faculty of 195 members, with 98% holding doctoral or master’s degrees. Fifty-one faculty members hold leadership positions in national-level academic societies such as the Chinese Stomatological Association, and the school serves as the chairperson unit for six provincial stomatology committees. It has established collaborations with universities and research institutions in the United States, Japan, Australia, Russia, and other countries, leading international exchanges in stomatology within Heilongjiang Province.
Equipped with advanced medical facilities, the school operates 153 dental units and 85 inpatient beds, handling nearly 200,000 outpatient and emergency visits annually and performing over 4,800 surgical procedures. It comprises 9 outpatient departments, 1 medical technology department, and 3 oral and maxillofacial surgical wards, with multiple techniques achieving national and provincial leadership. The school holds prestigious roles as a branch center of the National Clinical Research Center for Oral Diseases, a collaborative member of the National Stomatology Center’s Specialty Alliance, a founding partner of the Chinese Cleft Lip and Palate Diagnosis and Treatment Alliance, and a participant in the Smile Train Cleft Lip and Palate Repair Charity Project. Additionally, it serves as the Heilongjiang Provincial Quality Control Center for Stomatology, the Provincial Clinical Research Center for Dental and Periodontal Diseases, and the designated institution for speech disability assessment and treatment in the province.
As a vital educational base, the school houses 7 teaching and research divisions, training nearly 200 professionals annually. Its faculty is predominantly composed of mid-career and young scholars, characterized by a rational structure and strong academic and ethical credentials. The Institute of Stomatology was established in 2001, followed by the Sino-Russian Biomedical Research Center for Stomatology in 2015, both of which have yielded prolific research achievements.
